Academic Entry Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree (AQF Level 7 or higher)in an engineering discipline from an Australian university or an equivalent international institution. OR
- A bachelor’s degree (AQF Level 7 or higher)in any field, supplemented by substantial professional experience in a related area for at least 2 years. OR
- A combination of non-formal education and relevant work experience in an engineering-related field for at least 6 years

English Language Entry Requirements:

Prerequisites and co-requisites are listed in each unit outline. If a unit has a prerequisite, you must successfully complete the required earlier unit before enrolling. If a unit has a co-requisite, you must have already completed it or be enrolled in it at the same time.
Graduate Certificate in Engineering Management Course Structure
This course is delivered over one (1) semester.
The semester will run for 16 weeks, which includes 12 weeks of delivery, one week of major assessment. There are three (3) weeks of reflection and student consultation that follow the 12 teaching weeks. These three (3) weeks will ensure additional support for students and consolidate their learning through the semester. Each unit will typically have four (4) compulsory contact hours per week and students are expected to undertake a further six (6) hours of self-directed study each week.
Pre-requisites and/or co-requisites are noted on the unit outline. To be eligible to graduate, students must complete a total of 40 credit points.
